Allergy is an intensified and harmful reaction of the immune system that is triggered by allergens.
Pollens are created from trees, grasses, legumes and grains, spices, and to a lesser extent flowers.
Pollens (allergens) can cause these symptoms in different body systems:
Nose : sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, swelling of the nasal mucosa, with symptoms of nasal obstruction and difficulty breathing.
Eyes : itching, redness, watering, swelling (conjunctivitis)
Respiratory system : cough, inflammation with (bronchitis) acute respiratory problems and asthma Skin: itching, skin rashes (eczema, urticaria, neurodermatitis).
Digestive system : bloating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain.
Head : Migraine.
Mechanism : Pollen allergy is caused by breathing pollen in the air.
Classification: At certain times of the year, they have peak activity when they first pollinate and then the leaves come out.
Early Bloomer :
- Early spring: (in some areas, it starts from Bahman or March).
- Spring to Summer: (during spring pollination of Birch, Red Beech and grasses)
- Summer pollination: (grass and cereals)
Late Bloomer:
They pollinate late in their life cycle.
- Late Summer: (Mugwort)
- Early to mid-autumn: Stinging Nettle
is normally pollinated between December and October. The actual season of pollination (b) and the intensification of pollen activity depends only on the weather and environmental conditions of the same area. The pollen calendar is used to determine the time and type of test that will be performed on you.
