Allergy of carpenters – Safety of carpentry workshops

Some devices are designed and built in such a way that by having a suction system at the moment of wood cutting, they collect dust and do not allow it to spread in the air of the workshop. This is the best way to control dust in a woodworking shop. The use of public ventilation can also help to remove dust from the workshop space, provided that the selection and installation of the ventilation expert is taken. One of the other ways to control dust is to use humidity. Humidity in the air of the workshop helps to make the dust heavier and settle it faster.
Another way is to constantly clean the floor of the workshop. When cleaning, dust suction systems should be used and it should not spread dust in the workplace.

Skin complications

Logging workers who are in contact with pine trees get hives due to contact with the parasitic worms of these trees. The fine hairs of these worms sink into the skin, causing histamine release and hives. Foreign woods are also considered to cause sensitivity in carpenters and furniture makers. Sometimes wood can be allergenic; Such as widespread eczema caused by oak tree moss and allergic dermatitis caused by contact with pine tree extract and fir tree allergy. Sometimes wood workers suffer from allergies and skin irritations due to the use of glues, solvents, oils and chemicals.

Respiratory allergy

This disease is mostly seen in workers who deal with pieces of maple wood that have been cut some time ago. In this type of tree, mold develops between the bark and the trunk over time, and these molds cause respiratory irritation.
